Robin was born and raised in Dillingham and has been a life-long subsistence and commercial salmon fisherman in Bristol Bay. He is a past Curyung Tribal Council chief and a director on the board of the Bristol Bay Native Corporation. A former member of the North Pacific Fishery Management Council, Alaska Board of Fisheries and Nushagak Advisory Council, Robin remains a strong champion for the conservation and protection of marine resources Bristol Bay.

Lindsay Layland is a lifelong commercial setnetter living and working in Dillingham, Alaska. She began commercial fishing as a child on her dad’s boat in the Bristol Bay salmon set net fishery and currently captains her own boat in the same fishery. Lindsay served for many years as Deputy Director of United Tribes of Bristol Bay advocating for habitat protection and sustainable fisheries. After earning her Masters in Teaching, Lindsay returned to teach Social Studies at the Dillingham Middle/High School educating the next generation.

Norm brings over 40-years of experience across the Alaska fishing industry, starting as a crewman and culminating in senior management of salmon processing, science, and advocacy efforts. Norm guided operations in the processing sector for over 30 years before serving as CEO of the  Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation. Over the years Norm has demonstrated his passion not only for his vocation, but also in working towards ensuring sustainability fisheries, sustainable communities, and protecting the environment.

Katherine Carscallen is a lifelong resident of Bristol Bay, raised in a generational fishing family. She captains the F/V Sea Hawk, making a living as part of the longest lasting sustainable salmon fishery in the world. She has worked actively for over a decade to protect the habitat which sustains Bristol Bay.

Nels Ure is a second generation Bristol Bay fishermen. He lives in Naknek, Alaska and has been fishing for more than half of his life. Nels is passionate about the long term sustainability of Bristol Bay's fishery & habitat, an advocate for in region equity, and seeks to engage the young generation of fishermen with issues that will affect Bristol Bay's future. nels@cfbb.org

Casey Coupchiak, originally from the village of Togiak, inherited her grandpa's drift permit and has fished the bay ever since. Growing up learning about subsistence from her grandma she is an advocate for sustainable fishing practices and sustainability of cultural resources and customs. She is interested in encouraging the younger generations' involvement in the fishery and protecting the last great wild salmon fishery in the world. casey@cfbb.org
